The Government of Maharashtra has established State Common Entrance Test Cell as per Section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act ,2015. The CET Cell conducts various entrance exams for Admission to Professional courses in the state of Maharashtra, India.
Its primary purpose is to facilitate the admission process for Professional courses such as Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Agriculture, law, Medical, AYUSH & Fine Arts .

MHT CET 2024: The Maharashtra CET Cell has released the MHT CET Admit Card 2024 PCM. The MHT CET 2024 Admit Card link is available in the Candidate MHT CET Login. Candidates need to login on the MHT CET Admit Card 2024 official website mahacet.org for MHT CET hall ticket download. The CET Cell released MHT CET Admit card 2024 PCB on April 13.
MHT CET 2024 exam dates have been announced. As per the revised schedule, the MHT CET exam date 2024 for Engineering is May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 & 17 while the MHT CET 2024 Pharmacy exam will be held on April 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29 & 30, 2024.

- The questions in MHT CET 2024 will be based on the class 11 and 12 syllabus prescribed by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Maharashtra
- Approximately 20% weightage will be given to the class 11 syllabus and 80% weightage to the class 12 syllabus while setting the question paper
- There will be NO Negative Marking in MHT CEhttps://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-2024T but the difficulty level of the exam will be similar to JEE Mains.
- MHT CET 2024 PCM exam will consist of 2 sections, each of which will be 100 marks. The first section will be on Mathematics and the second section of Physics and chemistry. Similarly, In the PCB exam, the first section will be Biology and the second section of Physics and Chemistry.
- The MHT CET question paper will be set on the complete syllabus of class 12 while only a few topics listed below will be considered for the exam.
